Such a sweet way for little'uns to learn their numbers. The illustrations are just so cute - I still can't quite believe they are the work of a nine year old - and the little rhymes are fun and easy to remember

Introducing the Chubby Cheek creator!
Hi, I'm Bobby. I am an 11 year old illustrator who released my very first children's illustrated book when I was 9. I have just completed my 3rd & 4th illustrated book - with the help of my parents... thanks, you know who you are! ;)
I have a love for sketching and creating cute animals (spoiler alert - they all have chubby cheeks!). I like to think my playful personality comes through in my drawings, and my favourite character is Llama! My new book Ernie Evil is a whole new style of illustration for me and I had great fun coming up with all the characters!
I have one older brother Dylan - who keeps me motivated and is chief fact/spell checker of the books. I also have a baby sister, Ava, who is chief tester for the board books. She takes her role VERY seriously and has tested the books to the max!!!
I have lots more ideas that I hope to share with you if you would like to follow along, and I hope your family enjoys reading them together as much as we enjoyed creating them together.
Meet the parents!
We are Dan and Grainne Kaneswaran, the proud parents of Dylan, Bobby and Ava. Grainne is a bridal makeup artist who has always had a flare for art and all things creative, whether it's painting faces or making cakes. Dan is an IT engineer and published song writer who has been involved in writing since a young age. Dan began writing stories for kids when Bobby was born, so it all came full circle when Bobby began sketching and showed an interest in creating his own book. We love that we have been able to nurture Bobby's natural talents all while spending time together as a family, and we are very proud of the beautiful end result.
Meet Dylan
Dylan is the eldest (14) in the family and the OG Kid Prodigy, who was always ahead of his time. Dylan has played an important role with his meticulous spell/fact checking for the Chubby Cheek series. If something is amiss.. he will spot it!!
Dylan is also a talented creative writer in his own right, and is currently working on writing his first Children's fictional novel alongside his Dad - watch this space!!!
Meet Ava
Ava was born in March 2024 and has well and truly completed the family. All of our kids have been blessed with chubby cheeks as babies, maybe that's where Bobby draws his inspiration from :)
Ava is Chief Quality Control officer, she runs a tight ship and thoroughly enjoys putting Bobby's books to the test, with no page left unturned!! Thanks to Ava's hard "work ethic" we can confirm that the books definitely pass the durabilty test! Dan has worked closely with a printer that specialises in board books, so that we could bring our vision of wipeable and robust children's books to life.
Ava's favourite Chubby Cheek character is Penguin, and we can't say we blame her, he is incredibly cute!!
